We talked about #1 in my anthro class a week ago, and it was interesting to see how the answers differed between guys and girls. So answer that one: "Would you break up with someone your parents didn't approve of?" And let me add, if you continued to date that person, would you end up going so far as marrying her even if your parents were really against it?
I love my Mom to death but there is nothing she could do to keep me from dating/marrying who I want.
